sometimes i find myself wanting things to happen sooner than later.

waiting for “my life to really begin.”

wanting life to change so it will go the way i want.

it’s easy to slip into this mindset, to want things that aren’t happening right now.

God’s timing is absolutely perfect, and I forget this far too often. life is starting right now, today, tomorrow, and He reigns even when things don’t always flow the way I want to. I’m in a process of waiting for big things to happen, and for life to change, and it’s easy to become impatient.

Even in that weakness,
He is still good. The Lord is always good :)

You know those days when you’ve had a morning of philosophy and a 5 hour biology night class and you’re a little on edge because home life is stressful and you need a new job and you need Jesus?
So you know that moment when you’re finally in your bed, ready to just cry at any second but choose to relax, eyes closed, worship music on, when all of a sudden a GIANT mosquito looking thing is like NOPE AND FLIES ALL AROUND YOU AND YOUR BELONGINGS and you’ve gone from worship mode to survival mode like BAM????
Then you run away from it debating whether or not to throw your tissue box at it and it follows you in the hallway then you RUN FOR YOUR LIFE back into your room, door shut and you put a jean jacket at the foot of the door to cover any entryway for the bug.

JUST HAPPENED.
